About Us

Kavala Bay Primary School was established in 1974, at Kadavu Island, half a kilometer from the Naleca jetty.

Since opening, the school has expanded, and we now have over 130 enrolments!

Students of Kavala Bay Primary School enjoy an array of subjects including the following:

• The school offers subjects aligned with the MOE curriculum.
• For Years 4 - Year 8, the subjects include:
  • Literacy
  • Numeracy
  • Basic Science
  • Social Science
  • Healthy Living Vernacular (ITaukei)
• For lower primary, the subjects include:
  • Literacy
  • Numeracy
  • Moral Value & Civic Education
  • ITaukei
• Additionally, conversation in Hindi, PE, Music, Art & Craft, and Gardening are compulsory for all levels.
